Jazz concert at the Auden Theatre in Holt to raise money for the charity English Banana Trust

The team behind a north Norfolk-based charity, which aims to spread the use and understanding of English internationally for free, are holding their next fund-raising concert in October.

The English Banana Trust, based in Holt, formed more than eight years ago and are raising money for their second summer school to be held in 2013.

It is on the back of the success of this year’s first school, which saw four English teachers from around the world visit Norfolk.

The school brings users of the online material together to learn how to use it to its fullest.

The Jazz at the Auden concert will take place on October 20 at 7.30pm at the Auden Theatre. Jazz musician Jayne May-Sysum will be performing alongside the John Whitehead Trio.
