JamPot gift shop on Timber Hill has closed its doors to the public and will be operating online until a new premises is found.

The shop, which was located in the former home of Ward and Wright Footwear, opened in June 2017.

The brainchild of John and Sam Neild, it stocked unusual gifts, vintage “upcycled” furniture and included a dance floor and DJ turntables.

Mr Neild, who used to work at the Royal Bank of Scotland, said the business had been a “pipe dream” for his wife and himself.

A sign posted in the shop’s window informs customers that JamPot is still open at jampotnorwich.co.uk as well as on social media.

It adds: “We’re moving on! Hoping to relocate in the city... Look forward to seeing you soon! Thank you for your custom and support.”
