Detectives Constable Phil Paddon, investigating officer, from Norwich CID said: “We continue to carry out enquiries in the Kurdish community and with other police forces in order to trace Salah Hadi.

“These have so far been unsuccessful and we’re keen to hear from anyone who may have seen him recently or knows of his current whereabouts.”

Two men have been charged with offences in relation to the incident.

Luqman Ali, 21, of York Road, Great Yarmouth, is charged with aiding and abetting attempted murder, obstructing a police officer and driving without a licence or insurance.

Both have been remanded in custody to appear before the courts at a later date.
