Around 250 homes in Cromer are without water for the second day after overnight works overran.
A spokesman for Anglian Water apologised this morning for the inconvenience and said that the water should be back on before lunchtime.
The spokesman said: “Around 250 homes in the higher areas of Cromer are affected. Today’s problems are unrelated to yesterday morning’s, when a broken valve restricted the water pressure.
“We have been working for several nights to improve the network by installing a district meter, which identifies how much water is going into the area.
“The problem this morning is that the overnight work has overrun. We are hoping to get the work finished in the next couple of hours.”
