An additional temporary car park has been set-up for a popular shopping town in north Norfolk.
Holt Town Council will be using Gresham’s Pre-Prep School car park during July and August to help provide essential additional car parking for visitors to the town at the height of the summer season.
There will be a charge of £3 for parking on the car park, off Church Street.
Any profits made will be divided between Gresham’s and Holt Town Council for the benefit of community projects.
● For more information please call Holt Town Council on 01263 712149 or email holttown@tiscali.co.uk.

Wonderful news !! Perhaps this additional parking will help the SHOPS and surrounding existing BUSINESSES on Fish Hill aka Star Plain !!!....now why didn't I think of that?? How about some TC energies being involved in sorting a more permanent solution to the 'parking' situation in Holt?

Phil, what are you proposing? If you are a business or resident why not help them out with your ideas. The council alone cannot convince the county council to co-operate.

Now if the efforts of the market campaigners could be put into use to call on our county council to sort a car park....
