A colourful display of well over 100 pieces of art across many mediums from oils to watercolours, pastels to acrylics were on display with wildlife and still life mixing with portraits and landscapes.

The group started in 2006 and meets in Hethersett Village Hall on Wednesday mornings from 10am until midday under the guidance of Hethersett artist Linda Goldspink.

In addition to the art, the exhibition also featured handicrafts, competitions and refreshments and a blind auction on selected paintings. Profits from refreshments, some of the paintings and attractions will go to the Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARS), a charity with which Hethersett GP Tony Press is closely connected.

NARS provides volunteer doctors and paramedics at the scene of accidents to help with those suffering serious injury or acute medical illness.
