Scott Fulbrook died following a collision with a car on Salhouse Road at 8.40pm on Friday.

The 26-year-old had spent the evening with friends and was just five minutes from his home village of Rackheath.

Last night his aunt, Claire McCarthy, said Mr Fulbrook’s mother Sharon and sisters Sallie-Anne, Lisa and Katie had been distraught since the accident.

She said her nephew was a happy-go-lucky type who “liked his laughter” and loved his friends.

“He was a good-looking kid, a 26-year-old kid just starting out in life,” she said.

After moving from London to be closer to his mother four years ago, Mr Fulbrook had settled in quickly.

“He had his own place, he had made friends and he was just getting his stuff together,” said Mrs McCarthy.

Mr Fulbrook was a forklift truck driver looking for work, and a devoted Manchester United fan.

Tributes have continued to build at the scene of the crash, with bouquets of flowers, a red wreath, hanging candles, photographs and cards left yesterday.

Comments have also been left on a Facebook tribute page and www.eveningnews24.co.uk

Shane Keane called Mr Fulbrook “my best friend”, saying: “You will be missed by all, but never forgotten, you were a man full of life and should never have been taken away so early. The life and soul of any party you went to!”

Kayleigh Cottrell wrote: “Every time I look at the night sky I will see your star shine bright. Shine down on your mum and sisters Scott, they will need you to get through this. Sleep tight.”

Mr Fulbrook’s funeral will be at Earlham Crematorium at 4.30pm on February 28. Flowers should be sent to Harveys, 1 Norwich Road, Costessey.
