A 31-year-old Gorleston man has been jailed for three years after admitting several drugs offences including being concerned in offering to supply cocaine.
Rikki Ashman, of Oxford Avenue, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Christmas Eve for sentencing after earlier pleading guilty to three offences – being concerned in offering to supply cocaine, a class A drug, being concerned in making an offer to supply cannabis, a class B drug, and possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.
Ashman had been followed by police after a known drug dealer was seen getting into his vehicle.
He was detained for a drugs search and he was found in possession of cannabis and more than £2,200 in cash.
He was arrested and, during the police investigation that followed, he was found to have hundreds of text messages on his mobile phones relating to the supply of cocaine and cannabis.
He was sentenced to a total of three years in prison for the offences.
