Shoppers at Norwich’s Castle Mall shopping centre can take the easy option for wrapping their Christmas presents this year and benefit a local charity at the same time.
Through until Christmas Eve there will be a gift wrapping service based outside the Canary Store on the first floor of the shopping centre - staffed by volunteers who have donated their time to wrap presents.
All donations will go directly to Norfolk’s bereaved children’s charity, Nelson’s Journey, with each present costing a suggested donation of £1 to be wrapped, although people are welcome to donate more.
Marketing assistant Jenny England-Kerr said: “It’s been a busy first day considering it’s a Monday but I think it’s going to be pretty crazy through to Christmas Eve.
“Everyone has been really appreciative of the service, especially as it’s for such a good charity.”
