Yan Cherry-Jay died when his motorbike was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Magpie Road on February 14.

Family and friends of the 20-year-old packed out St Mary's Church with mourners lining the path all the way to the church's gates.

The Reverend Mandy Ansell who led the service described Yan, who worked at Asda in Hellesdon, as 'full of life' and 'full of get up and go'.

Friends scribbled their tributes to Yan on his white coffin which was laid with red flowers.

Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash.
