A colourful collection of paintings by local artists is on display at an exhibition raising funds to support the work of Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
The event at The Forum in Norwich this week has been organised by the Friends of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, and it includes a wide variety of art work.
Pat Larter, from the Friends, said: “Organising this exhibition has been a delight.
“Everyone has been so generous with their support, and we have some great work on show.”
Artists exhibiting work in the show include Graham Howlett, Liz Balkwill, Bunty Gotts, Sarah Cannell, Graham Dunthorne and many more.
All of the art work is on sale with the proceeds from the exhibition going to the Friends of NNUH to support the work of the hospital.
The exhibition and sale was officially opened by the Sheriff of Norwich, Graham Creelman, on Wednesday evening.
Louise Cook, NNUH fundraising manager, said the hospital was incredibly grateful for all the support the Friends give to the hospital.
The Friends of NNUH is a registered charity which seeks to improve the experience of patients, friends and their families at the hospital.
The Friends has recently funded an ultrasound machine in the acute medical unit, a laparoscopic stack used for patients with gynaecological cancer, and a high dependency incubator cot in the neonatal intensive care unit.
• The exhibition and sale is at The Forum, in Norwich, until Sunday from 9am until 5pm each day. Admission is free.
