As reports of traffic chaos continue following this afternoon’s heavy snow in Norwich, one city venue is offering people a free pint and an escape from the stress.

Epic Studios, the former ITV studios in Magdalen Street, is offering people free live music and a free drink this evening.

James Foster, Epic’s business development manager, said: “Epic Studios is throwing open its doors for an impromptu gig and free pint for the stranded folk of Norwich to cheer them up while the city is gridlocked.

“Luckily we had some musicians here with us, and nobody here can get home anyway! We will keep folk warm, and entertained until the gridlock is over.”

Anyone interested in taking up the offer should head to the cafe at Epic. Follow @EPICNorwich on Twitter for further details.
