A large barn and horsebox are said to be “well alight” at Cockthorpe, between Stiffkey and Langham.

And a large straw stack and field are on fire at Ramsgate Street, Edgefield, south of Holt.

Eight crews are at the scene of the Cockthorpe blaze, two each from Cromer, Fakenham and Sprowston - including the environmental protection unit - plus engines from Holt and Sheringham.

Meanwhile the water carrier from Hethersett is on its way to Edgefield to join crews from Aylsham, North Walsham and Reepham, Mundesley and Stalham.
