This year's Norwich Sci-Fi Convention (NOR-CON) has relocated to the Holiday Inn Norwich North, in Hellesdon.
In its first two years the event has been based at the University of East Anglia but its organisers say they want it to expand.
The fun sci-fi event raised over �6,000 for various local charities last year and is hoping to raise even more this year.
The event is being held on Sunday, September 2, between 10am and 5pm, with special sci-fi guests including two former Doctor Who actors, Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker.
Other guests will include Red Dwarf's Robert Llewellyn, who will be signing copies of his new book, and Star Wars' Darth Vader and Stormtrooper Sculptor, Brian Muir.
