Georgia’s grieving parents paid tribute to her following her death and said she was a “beautiful tomboy”.

They described her as “really cheeky”, and her father, Paul Sewell said: “Although we only knew her a short while, she gave us more than a lifetime’s worth of laughter, happiness and love.

“She wasn’t like any other child I’ve ever met, she was just Georgia.

“She was really determined too and wouldn’t give up. If she could not do something the first time or even the second time, she would keep going and going, and no matter how many times she would fall she would always get up. She was one of the clumsiest people I’ve ever known.

“I remember the morning we woke up to find a very sticky Georgia who was covered in talcum powder. We had bought them an arts and craft set and she had managed to get hold of the glue and looked like she had been tarred and feathered, but with talcum powder and superglue. She was caked head to foot in it. She was a lovely little girl and she was into everything, whether it was football or dressing up.”

Georgia’s mother Tasha Keeling said: “She had everyone wrapped round her little finger and she knew exactly how to get what she wanted. She would just give you a look and you couldn’t tell her off, even when she used to climb up on the washing machine and get the sugar down and start eating it when you weren’t looking. I loved the way she was boss with the other kids, she was so funny.”
