Firefighters called to chimney fire at Rushall, near Harleston

Firefighters have tackled a chimney fire at a property in Rushall, near Harleston tonight.

One appliance from Harleston and the aerial ladder platform, with a support appliance from Earlham, were called to reports of a chimney fire on Harleston Road, Rushall just after 7.10pm.

Chimney equipment, hand appliances and hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots. A stirrup pump was also used.
