Firefighters came to the aid of a dog that had got its head stuck in a bin in the early hours of this morning.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service received a call at just before 1.30am to a dog that had its head trapped in Cator Road, in Drayton, near Norwich.

One crew from Earlham fire station was dispatched and firefighters used small cutting gear to release the dog.

They were on scene for ten minutes.
