Two fire appliances were called to help the ambulance service move an obese patient this morning.
The obese patient was suffering from breathing difficulties in Carter Close, Caister-on-Sea.
Manual assistance from fire crews was requested at 8.35am today (Saturday, March 10), and two appliances from Great Yarmouth attended.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “When we’ve got an obese patient it is regular to call the fire service to assist.”
The spokesman added the patient’s condition is not serious.
