09:37 18 November 2012
Search teams were deployed along the north Norfolk coast this weekend following reports of a possible missing person.
The Sheringham Lifeboat was called out to search the inshore waters between the Blakeney overfalls buoy and West Runton shortly before 3pm on Saturday by Yarmouth Coastguard.
HM coastguard and police teams were also searching the local cliff top paths and beaches at the same time.
The search was called off at 4.40pm when it became too dark to see.
An RNLI spokesman said nothing was found but the search was launched with good intent.
