A free school which inspectors said needed to improve is taking effective action towards its goal.
University Technical College Norfolk (UTC), in Norwich, was told by Ofsted in March that it required improvement.
But in a follow-up visit in November, inspectors said the school, which is run by the Transforming Education in Norfolk (TEN) Group, was taking 'effective action' to tackle its weak areas.
Writing to principal Alex Hayes, the watchdog said: 'Your plans are suitably focused on the areas for improvement identified at the previous inspection.
'Working together, you are making sure that the actions you are taking are subject to appropriate monitoring and review to check that they are working.'
March's report was UTC's first, having opened in 2014.
After November's visit, Ofsted said the school still needed to improve the consistency of the quality of its teaching and learning and continue work on upping attendance.
