Schools in Norfolk under one academy trust are celebrating more than £2m worth of investment in their facilities.
The Right for Success trust has made a series of improvements at Sewell Park Academy, Tuckswood Academy and Nursery and Eaton Hall Specialist Academy, all of which are in Norwich.
At Tuckswood, the significant changes made over the summer holidays include new toilets, new classrooms and upgrades to the play area, including a new outdoor learning space for the school's younger children.
An old staff room has also been converted into a new classroom as part of the £300,000 investment.
At Eaton Hall, which caters for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, the school's residential and dining areas have been extended and improved, to the tune of roughly £820,000.
And after a successful bid from the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF), which is run and administered by the Department for Education, a £1m project is ongoing to build a new roof at Sewell Park Academy.
The school was granted the funding in the latest round of the CIF, which was announced in April this year.
Valerie Moore, chief executive of the trust, said: 'These important projects are all part of our strategy to invest in our establishments so as to deliver the best facilities for pupils and staff.
'We're committed to providing education of the highest quality.
'To do that we have to ensure that buildings and the educational environment is also of the highest quality.'
It comes after the trust announced plans to lodge a bid with the government for funds for a project to enhance mental health support both in its own schools and further afield.
Though in its infancy, a round table meeting was held to discuss the scheme and push the bid forward.
Other local schools that were successful in this round of the CIF included Old Buckenham Primary School, for boiler replacement works, Eaton Primary School, for a roof refurbishment and Flegg High School, for a replacement window.
