The headteacher and staff at an infant school have been selected for a top role supporting schools in challenging circumstances.
Rachael Judd, of Mousehold Infant School in Norwich, is one of 144 headteachers to be appointed to the role of National Leader of Education (NLE) in the latest recruitment round.
NLEs use their success and professionalism as school leaders, along with the staff in their school - designated a National Support School - to provide additional leadership capability in other schools.
Miss Judd said: “We are thrilled with our success and grateful for the support of our governors. As an outstanding school we would welcome the opportunity to support other schools both in Norfolk and across the country.”
Successful heads have been invited to attend formal training for the role in driving school improvement.
