Part of the northbound A11 will be closed overnight for two nights next week as repair works take place.
The work will be done between the London Road and Brandon Road roundabouts on Monday night and the Besthorpe and Spooner Row junctions on Tuesday night.
It is due to start at 8pm on Monday, December 9, and should all be completed by 6am on Wednesday, December 11.
Anna Graham, project sponsor for the Highways Agency, said: “This work will help to maintain safe and reliable journeys on the A11 in Norfolk.
“Work will take place overnight between 8pm and 6am, avoiding the busier peak travel period to help minimise disruption to the majority of road users.
“Drivers affected by this work are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time to travel.”
On Monday, drivers will be diverted from the London Road junction along London Road and the A134 to rejoin the A11 at the Brandon Road roundabout. On Tuesday, vehicles will leave the A11 at the Besthorpe junction and follow the B1077 and Norwich Road to rejoin the A11 at Spooner Row.
