The former foreign secretary spoke to sixth form students at Sewell Park College on St Clements Hill about their education and aspirations for university, before talking about wider issues at the University of East Anglia.

Mr Miliband told pupils and staff at the high school that he advocated teaching more politics lessons in schools, as well as giving the pupils tips on debating.

At the university Mr Miliband was questioned by former Norwich MP and cabinet minster Charles Clarke who is the visiting professor at the UEA.

Mr Miliband talked about issues from the conflicts in the middle east, European membership, and politics in the UK.

He described the lack of Labour seats in this area of the country as “very dangerous” and stressed the need to re-build.

  • Who do you vote for then John? UKIP (all Tories), Green (who either disappear to the Tories or vote for former Tories in the PCC elections) or Lib Dems (in bed with them)?
