Police are appealing for information after a cyclist was bitten by a dog in Norwich at the weekend.

A man was cycling in the wooded area near to the lake at the University of East Anglia at around 8.15am on Saturday, January 5.

A man and a woman were walking two large dogs, described as Dobermans or similar.

One of the dogs bit the cyclist on the leg which broke the skin and required medical attention.

Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed this incident, or anyone with information about the dog and its owners.
