Criminals across Norwich and Norfolk have been warned they will be targeted as part of future days of action.
It comes as the success of Operation Octane, a day of high-visibility raids targeting criminal activity across the county last month, is revealed by police – who arrested 52 people in the single day.
Norfolk’s assistant chief constable Gareth Wilson, left, said: “The day of action we held will be the first of many that we will be holding in the future and I would reiterate what we said in October when this operation was held – we are determined to make life difficult for those people who are intent on committing crime.
“It is simply not acceptable and those individuals should expect a knock on their door sometime in the future.”
The operation, which was carried out on October 11, was aimed at helping to keep Norfolk as one of the safest counties in the country by targeting those intent on committing crime.
