UPDATE: Man no longer in critical condition following serious assault in Bradwell

Two people arrested in connection with a serious assault in Bradwell - in which a man suffered head injuries - have been released on police bail.
Officers were called to reports of a disturbance in El Alamein Way at around 10.30pm last night.
A man in his 40s was found with serious head injuries and was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge. His condition is no longer critical and he is in a stable condition.
A woman also received a knife wound to her arm and was taken to the James Paget Hospital for treatment.
The woman and a man, both in their 30s and from the Bradwell area, were arrested following the incident and have now been released on police bail pending further enquiries until the end of August.
