Two men assaulted in Norwich after would-be robbers demand money

Two men have been assaulted in Norwich during two attempted robberies.

The first happened between 2pm and 2.10pm on Watling Road, near to the junction of Churchman Road, on Thursday October 5.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was approached by two men who demanded money before assaulting him. Both suspects ran away when the man shouted for help.

The second incident happened in Rider Haggard Road between 2pm and 2.30pm on the same day.

The victim, a man in his 50s, was approached by two men who demanded his wallet. When the victim refused he was assaulted.

It’s believed a number of people were in the areas at the time of both attempted robberies.
