A teenager has been slashed across the face as he walked along the road in Norwich.

An 18-year-old man was walking along Magdalen Road at about 10.35pm on Tuesday, October 17 when he was approached by two men.

One of the men was carrying what is believed to have been a bladed weapon.

The victim was assaulted and suffered a cut to the face.

A 20-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, both from the Norwich area, have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and currently remain in police custody to be questioned by officers later today.

The investigation into the incident is on-going and anyone who may have witnessed the assault should contact Detective Sergeant Peter Wilson at Norwich Street CID on 101.
