Police investigate link between Wymondham aggravated burglary and attack in Flordon

Detectives have renewed an appeal for information on an aggravated burglary in Wymondham after a similar attack in Flordon.
The incident in Wymondham happened shortly before midnight on July 20 when three men entered a property on Green Lane and threatened the householder demanding cash.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was assaulted during the incident, suffering bruising and swelling after being punched in the face.
Suspects stole a PSP, mixing deck and keys before fleeing the scene.
It is believed one of the suspects is nicknamed “Chubby”.
Police are investigating whether the attack is linked to a similar incident in Flordon on Friday, August 15, which left a man injured.
Around 3am, three men entered a property on Greenways Lane and threatened the resident, demanding cash.
The victim, a man in his mid-20s, was restrained and then assaulted during the incident. He received minor injuries to his hands and face after being punched.
The suspects stole items including a laptop, stereo, mobile phone and a hoover before fleeing the scene.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers are continuing to explore the possibility that the two incidents are linked.”
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed three men acting suspiciously in the area around the time stated.
