Messages of support have started to flood in for the mother and sister of Myleene Klass after the Norfolk-born musician and presenter revealed that they had been mugged.
The celebrity, who was born and raised in Gorleston, near Great Yarmouth, announced on Twitter this afternoon that her mother, Bong, and sister, Jessie, had been attacked.
The 35-year-old said on the social media site: “To the person who mugged my 67 year old mum and my sister. I hope you get hit by a bus and die. Slowly.”
It is not yet known when or where the mugging happened, but her Twitter followers were quick to offer messages of support to the family.
Kenny Ken said: “That’s terrible to hear, hope they are okay and whoever did it gets caught.”
Cormac Burns added: “God bless them both. Hope they will be alright. Particularly your mum.”
Chris Boden said: “Sorry to hear that, hope they get caught and put away for a long time.”
Classically trained Ms Klass shot to fame with the pop band Hear’Say. She released two solo classical albums in 2003 and 2007 and has presented shows such as Popstar to Operastar and the One Show.
