A dozen drivers on the school run were given words of advice during a week-long parking campaign in Norwich.
Schools in the south of the city were targeted with additional patrols carried out by police and city council parking enforcement officers.
The action comes after local residents and parents complained about irresponsible parking and raised concerns over safety.
PCSO Laura Baitey said: “Twelve drivers were given words of advice and all those found parking inappropriately were moved on.
“Several letters have been sent out to motorists reported to be frequent offenders for parking on zig-zags and advised of their behaviour.”
Areas patrolled included Avenue Road, Recreation Road, South Park Avenue and Eaton Road between 10 and 14 February.
