Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following Gorleston assault is bailed

A man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an assault in Gorleston that left a victim in critical condition has been bailed by police.
The 45-year-old victim was found inside a house in Springfield Road on February 4, suffering serious head injuries.
He remains in a critical condition at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridgeshire.
A 43-year-old man from the Lowestoft area was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder last week, and has been bailed pending further inquiries until April 7.
A police spokesman said all parties involved are known to one another.
