Two men have been warned they face lengthy jail terms after they were convicted of three counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Junior Mampuya, 21 and Apio Gomes, 20, both from St Peters Road, Great Yarmouth were found guilty following a trial at Norwich Crown Court.

The jury heard how three men were injured with stab wounds following a street fight involving a number of people.

Mampuya and Gomes had denied the charges but were convicted by a jury after four hours.

Judge Maureen Bacon adjourned the case for reports until a date to fixed in September but told them the reports would also consider what dangers the pair posed.

She said they were serious charges and said: 'There can only be a prison sentence.'

She said they should prepare themselves for a long sentence as it would have to be marked by a lengthy term.
