Police have released a description of a distraction burglary suspect.
A man walked into a property belonging a woman on Great Melton Road in Hethersett on Thursday, July 19.
When she challenged the man he said he had been sent from the council to test the taps before leaving.
The victim later discovered cash had been stolen from her handbag.
The suspect is described as white, aged between 45 and 50 years old, under 6ft tall, with dark hair and dark stubble on his face.
He was wearing a dark blue short sleeved shirt, dark coloured trousers and shoes.
It is believed he may have also had a lanyard around his neck.
Anyone with information, or anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time of the incident should contact police on 101 quoting CAD 233 of July 19.
