Court date set for man accused of beheading former Norfolk woman in Tenerife

A date has been set for the court case of a man who was accused of stabbing and beheading a former Hellesdon woman in Tenerife almost two years ago.
Jennifer Mills-Westley was murdered in Tenerife.Jennifer Mills-Westley, 60, a retired road safety officer from Norwich, was killed in the resort of Los Cristianos, on the island of Tenerife, in May 2011.
Deyan Deyanov, a Bulgarian man with a history of mental health problems, was arrested on suspicion of murder.
The hearing against him is due to start on 18 February.
Only when the legal proceedings have been completed can a full inquest into Ms Mills-Westley’s death finally be held.
