It happened at the Co-op store on Hall Road, off Queen’s Road, on Wednesday July 2 shortly before 10pm.

It started when a man was seen acting suspiciously inside of the store.

When he was approached by a member of staff and challenged about his behaviour he spat in the shop workers face.

Officers are keen to speak with the man pictured who may be able to assist with enquiries.
