A Norwich-based design agency is venturing overseas after acquiring Singapore-based One to One Global Pte Ltd.

The firm said the acquisition underpins Foolproof’s growth ambitions in Asia and establishes an operational hub for the region.

Already one of the world’s leading specialist experience design agencies Foolproof works extensively with clients across Asia, including HSBC, Lloyds TSB, RS Components and Bodog.

Peter Ballard, co-founder of Foolproof, said: “This is a really exciting time for the user experience market in Singapore and Asia as a whole. Businesses are increasingly turning to user experience as a means of gaining competitive advantage.

Over the past eight years the Singapore team, led by Evelyn Lee, has worked with leading brands such as PayPal, Shell, Skype, Nokia, StarHub and Institute for InfoComm Research.

The company – which was founded in Norwich and now has a second office in London – works across all digital channels, including web, mobile, tablet and kiosk in more than 20 markets.
