A Bawburgh-based coaching and consultancy firm has secured a major deal with a Dutch bank to deliver leadership training to its senior staff.
StepUp4Coaching will train and accredit 50 internal coaches at the De Lage Landen bank, owned by the Rabobank Group, in a deal worth a six-figure sum.
Sylvia Kingman, the coaching firm’s managing director, will travel with her team of associates to Philadelphia and Lebanon to deliver the contract, which began in November at the bank’s headquarters in Eindhoven in Holland.
It follows a series of deals with multi-national firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Philips and TNT.
Ms Kingman, 57, said: “This contract is helping me mark out a specialism for delivering internal coaches.
“It is about helping businesses get really good qualified people into their organisations, which can provide coaching up to executive level. It saves them costs and they will have assurances that the people doing the coaching can deliver the results.”
Ms Kingman has reported a positive outlook for her company near Norwich, with a predicted turnover of £120,000 to the end of March this year.
