A Norwich dental surgery has been refurbished by its new owner after being bought in June.

Friends Dental Practice, in Wroxham Road, Sprowston, has been modernised by dentist Zain Shamoon, who acquired the business earlier this year.

A six-figure package from Royal Bank of Scotland helped to fund the acquisition and the revamp, which included investment in improving the dental equipment at the surgery with a brand new digital x-ray machine.

Mr Shamoon said: “We have created a much more comfortable and professional surgery for our patients to enjoy and are well equipped to provide the highest standard of dental treatment available. I took the decision to acquire the surgery having seen the brilliant potential for growth it offered. There are three surgeries at the practice but currently only two are operated.”

He added he hoped to open the practice on Saturdays.
