Businesses on a Norwich street are meeting to start a report about ongoing power cuts.
Owners of shops, restaurants and bars on St Benedicts Street are meeting tomorrow after they were left without power once again on Saturday.
Those affected include Hawthorn, Farmyard Restaurant and Benedicts.
Hannah Springham, of Farmyard Restaurant, said the power cuts are costing some independent businesses thousands.
“St Benedicts is known as the place to go for food in the city and these power cuts cannot keep happening,” she said. “On Saturday places had customers waking out and others had to shut altogether.”
On Saturday Richard Bainbridge, of Benedicts, tweeted: “After 3 snow days and now the first chance to make money I lose heat and power! This is the 4th time this year.”
The meeting is being held at Farmyard Restaurant at 3pm.
