Holidaymakers will have a new destination to choose when they fly from Norwich Airport this summer.

Tui has announced a new route to Dalaman in Turkey for the summer 2018 season, starting in May 2018 on Saturdays.

The company has already added Heraklion in Greece which will be available for the first time this year.

Karen Switzer of TUI UK & Ireland said: 'In total we have 10 destinations for customers to choose from when booking their holidays from Norwich Airport. Holidaymakers in East Anglia now have wider access than ever before to our diverse collection of destinations and hotel concepts.'

Richard Pace, managing director of Norwich Airport, said: 'We are delighted TUI has taken the decision to add Dalaman, Turkey to their summer programme from Norwich Airport increasing the range of destinations available for 2018.'

The addition is the latest of several changes to the schedule at Norwich Airport in recent months. In December, Loganair announced it was scrapping its flight to Durham Tees Valley from Norwich after just two months because of disappointing ticket sales.
