Business volunteers put high school students through their paces at a mock recruitment assessment day.

A total of 33 students from Framingham Earl High School, Wymondham College, Fakenham Academy and Archbishop Sancroft High School spent the day at Jarrold Training in Norwich on Wednesday for the South Norfolk Assessment Centre Competition.

They gave presentations, took part in team work challenges and faced one-to-one interviews – watched by New Anglia Enterprise Adviser Network volunteer assessors from companies including Arnolds Keys, Reef Recruitment and Osiris.

The day was organised by Jarrold Training with South Norfolk District Council and supported by the New Anglia Enterprise Adviser Network.

Business development and management trainer at Jarrold Training, Elliot Symonds, said: 'It's a great way for the students to learn more about the realities of applying for and getting a job.'
