A technician at Proserv, which has been awarded a double subsea contract award, operating the subsea controls system at the company’s Great Yarmouth facility.

Subsea control system company Proserv has secured two contracts worth more than £6m which it will fulfil from its newly-acquired base in Great Yarmouth.

The multi-million-pound deals will see the company provide a subsea control system for a tieback on Maersk Oil UK’s Clyde platform and a topside and subsea manifold control system to support another development in the southern North Sea.

Proserv acquired energy giant Weatherford’s Yarmouth base and 300 staff in May and the company has experienced exceptional growth over the past 12 months particularly in the subsea services sector.
