Great Yarmouth-based JRT Heating and Plumbing has invested £60,000 in two new vans and recruited a new apprentice.
The firm, a member of the EDP Future 50, said the Peugeot Boxer L3H2 vans, purchased from Sidegate Motors, would allow the business to cover a greater area and take on larger-scale installation work, while also cutting carbon emissions and improving fuel economy.
The move comes as the company, which has established a renewable energy showroom in the town, also took on 22-year-old Great Yarmouth College student Anthony Male, who impressed bosses following a period of work experience with the firm.
