A city centre shop has opened its doors, selling recycled and improved furniture taken from a home clearance service.
Loads4Less, which runs a removals, clearance and storage business, launched its Prince of Wales Road upcycling store this week with boxer Sam Sexton on hand to cut the ribbon.
Director Adam Soall said: 'We are going to be concentrating mostly on recycled and upcycled items to save them going to landfill, and try to salvage as much as we possibly can.
'We don't like to tip anything if we can turn it into something nice to give it an extra life span.
'It really makes us happy to know that someone else can find good use of the items that we are upcycling. The feedback from our customers has been great.
'The first week has already proven to be a great success and an all-round great week for us here at the shop with sales booming on upcycled items.'
