A Norwich company which specialises in calibrating equipment has visited Westminster with its local MP.
Fluke Calibration Norwich attended a parliamentary reception with Norwich North member Chloe Smith
The company's instruments are found in calibration laboratories around the world, including the national meteorology institutes, where precise and reliable measurements are required.
Ms Smith met site director and engineering manager Vince Gosling to learn more about the business, and will visit the company's base in Hurricane Way.
She said: 'I have always been a strong supporter of Norwich's businesses, and always keen to learn more about specialist sectors.
'I was really pleased to welcome Fluke to Westminster [on Monday] for the reception, and I am looking forward to learning more about the business when I visit their factory.'
The reception was held by the Trade Association for Instrumentation, Control, Automation and Laboratory Technology in the UK.
