British footwear brand Dr Martens today opened its largest UK store in Norwich – bringing eight new jobs to the city.
Shop manager Scott Munson, who previously worked at the Dr Martens shop in London’s Covent Garden, has returned to his home county to manage the new Castle Street outlet.
The 2000sq ft shop has a juke box, classic Oxblood tone sofa and an in-store photobooth – the second UK Dr Martens store to house one after Carnaby Street in London.
Amy Nelson, UK retail marketing manager for Dr Martens, said: “We are delighted to be opening our largest store in Norwich. The styles and trends that people wear in the city, combined with an unrivalled shopping experience, vast student population and one of the UK’s best music and arts scene make it an ideal fit for the Dr Martens brand.”
The store will sell a wide selection of footwear, clothing and accessories.
