An East Anglian recruitment firm is celebrating a job well done after raising more than £8,000 for its charity of the year in 2017.

Staff at the agency, which has offices in Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and Colchester, had chosen children’s home provider Break as their charity for the year.

In total the company raised £8,105.25 for the charity – its most successful fundraising year to date.

The fundraising efforts began in April, with 20 Cooper Lomaz employees braving a Firewalk in King’s Lynn followed by a 12,500ft skydive.

Then in July eight staff, including managing director Simon Brown, took on the 24-hour Three Peaks challenge and raised £2,500.

Among these large fundraisers small-scale events including bake sales and raffles were held.

Cooper Lomaz said: “It’s incredibly important to support a local charity each year and give something back to the community.”
