Shadow Treasury chief secretary Rachel Reeves MP will be meeting businesses in Norwich today to talk about the Autumn Statement and Labour's plans for government.
The business round table discussion is being hosted by the Mid Norfolk Federation of Small Businesses at the Cube in the Forum and will have people attending from the senior management teams of major Norwich-based employers.
Ms Reeves said: 'We'll be discussing the challenges businesses in Norwich are facing, and Labour's plan for jobs and growth, including a national insurance holiday for small firms taking on extra workers and bringing forward investment in infrastructure and affordable housing, as well as the long-term reforms we need to make our economy stronger, including proper reforms to our banks to boost lending to small and medium sized enterprises.'
